Busy, Busy, Busy.

Artwork being shown in 3 exhibitions right now. My school's student juried show. My girl friend won the best of show award, I'm so proud of her. We found out a week later that the best of show award was between me and her, she definitely deserved the win. The other two exhibits are local galleries nearby, one was a juried show for artists living in Kentucky, and another was a gallery space wanting to host our school's student works.

Been so busy with school, learning and practicing Chinese. I think Im terrible at Chinese, but my teachers say I am doing well for just learning 2 almost 3 months ago. My Chinese name is He Xi, and like a dork I love it. In just 6 more weeks I'll be going to China. A Big, Big trip for me. Ive never traveled so this is so new and different for me. Quoting the movie The Crow "I feel like a little worm on a big fucking hook." But at the same time I feel like I was meant to go to China. I'll be visiting Beijing and Tianjin. At the end of spring semester I will be having a solo exhibit at my school about my experiences with traveling to China.
